Hey, are you feeling the climate change ?
Environmental pollution is increasing rapidly nowadays, on other hand many organisations are also working on prevention of the pollution.
Industries and Conventional vehicles are major sources of polluting the Air quality by emitting carbon dioxide.

Carbon dioxide is not a toxic gas but higher concentrations of it can cause harmful impact on human health and it is the main cause of Global warming.
Many industries are trying to reduce the CO2 emission with different ways and one the most effective way is CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage).
In CCS first exaust flue gas from the chimney or gases from the furnace is collected, then cooled it down by cooling tubes. After cooling of the flue gas seperation of Carbon dioxide is required by one of this methods :
1) Chemical absorption method
2) Physical absorption method
3) Membrane seperation method
Mostly chemical absorption method is used for the seperation of CO2. After getting CO2 it is directly sends to the storage at below sea level or underground or it is pressurized and stored in storage vessels for different applications
For simple understanding of the process you can see videos below
Researchers are still working on developing CCS process with improved technology and cost effectiveness. Currently this process is being used in USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Denmark.
As of November 2019, there are 10 CCS facilities in the USA with a combined capacity to capture more than 25 million tonnes per annum. In total, there are 19 operating facilities globally, with a further 28 in various stages of development and 4 under construction.
In upcoming 10 years CCS will be mandatory in INDIA for prevention of of Air pollution and Global warming
Climate change is taking place and if you want your future safe for living, then change yourself with the time...
